In July, 2025, I lost my Mum after a lengthy battle with vascular dementia. She was the researcher and keeper of our family history records.

On her passing I volunteered to take over the responsibility of maintaining the records. After some initial research, and work on the likes of Ancestry.com, I realised there was an opportunity to take the work Mum had done and expand and enhance it.

I want my children, my nieces and nephews, and future family generations to know and understand their history, and one of the most important parts of that history is the visual record we have, capturing the different generations.

Rather than relying on old and deteriorating photos in dusty old photo albums, I decided to develop a process to edit, enhance, colourise and save these old photos, so they would be available to view – and be safe – for now and the future.

If you feel the same way about the importance of keeping and maintaining these vital memories, please reach out and let’s discuss how I may be able to help you.

All the best,
Andrew
